Welcome! I’m Jessie! A Licensed Therapist, Outdoor Enthusiast, and a Forever Playful Kid-at-Heart

My journey to becoming a therapist began in Hawaii, a home that fostered curiosity and finding beauty in the in-between moments. Yet, even in paradise, I was a kid with a busy brain who struggled with anxiety. My self-criticism started small but eventually fractured my self esteem, relationships, and later, my life as a collegiate athlete. This whirlwind of negative thought spiraling and overwhelming emotions ultimately led me to finally seek therapy. I wish I had known about therapy sooner as it was a place for me to slowly learn how to process the emotions that often left me feeling stuck and lost.

While I used to dismiss my heartfelt sensitivity as a child, I am so thankful it led me to a job I love with clients who I delight in. My counseling style looks like compassion, curiosity, challenge, and a healthy dose of laughter. I utilize Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT) which is an evidenced based treatment that helps individuals build mindfulness skills as they create a life rooted in their values. I also utilize Internal Family Systems (IFS) which helps clients identify and find healing between the different parts of themselves that are often in conflict with one another. I believe healing happens when we stop trying to "fix" ourselves and start getting to know every quirky and complicated layer of ourselves. Therapy with me is not about pretending to have it all together. It is about authenticity, learning how to harness the power of your emotions, and slowly creating a space where your inner world is welcomed — not judged.

You are in charge of your journey, and I am here to support you towards creating a life rooted in your deepest values. Are you ready to begin the work and grow in ways you have not experienced before? Let’s get started!
